O Banrisul foi agraciado com o ‘Troféu Eva Sopher 2024’, na categoria ‘Destaque Institucional’, entregue nesta semana. Criada pela Secretaria de Estado da Cultura (Sedac) e pela Fundação Theatro São Pedro, a premiação leva o nome da empreendedora cultural que foi diretora do teatro por mais de 40 anos. A distinção tem o propósito de enaltecer personalidades públicas e instituições que colaboraram significativamente para a promoção da Cultura em suas diferentes expressões, no Rio Grande do Sul.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ao receber o troféu, o presidente do Banrisul, Fernando Lemos, relatou que em sua gestão teve o privilégio de conviver com Dona Eva, quando ela começou a idealizar a construção do Multipalco, que teve apoio do banco. “Receber um prêmio que carrega o nome dessa grande mulher é um verdadeiro carimbo de excelência para a nossa instituição, estamos muito gratos.”<\/span><\/p>\n

O dirigente mencionou, ainda, que o patrocínio ao ‘Movimenta Cena Sul’ converge com propósito que o banco teve de, além de financiar a recuperação de prédios culturais afetados pela enchente, dar uma atenção especial aos artistas e trabalhadores do setor. “Precisávamos também pensar nos artistas, pois nada adiantaria se todas as casas de cultura estivessem arrumadas mas não houvesse artistas para subirem em seus palcos”, frisou. Por fim, Lemos finalizou: “o que fizemos foi retribuir ao Rio Grande do Sul o que o Rio Grande já fez pela história do nosso Banco”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Em sua fala, a Secretária da Cultura do Estado, Beatriz Araújo, destacou a importância do apoio do Banrisul nos projetos de retomada voltados para o setor cultural. “Renovo meu agradecimento e reconhecimento ao Fernando Lemos, um homem que passa trabalhando com números, com o mercado financeiro, um mundo distante da arte, mas foi a pessoa que naquele momento me chamou para dizer que queria estar conosco e nos apoiar”, salientou.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
